Mother Nurture's Mission

Mother Nurture Lactation Consulting strives to promote optimal infant and maternal health by providing every breastfeeding family with thorough, evidence-based education, as well as warm, nurturing emotional support and practical skills that are essential for successful breastfeeding.

I respect every mother’s unique definition of breastfeeding success and will work towards helping them achieve their personal goals. I founded Mother Nurture to empower women to harness confidence in breastfeeding and thrive in this beautiful stage of motherhood.

Mother Nurture's Values

I am available to assist and empower you in making your breastfeeding, pumping, or alternative feeding experience a positive one. Above and beyond my qualifications, I am a mother. Nothing I have done or will ever do can match the incredible experience of creating and raising my own children.

I breastfed each of my babies for 2-3 1/2 years, overcoming various challenges. Two of my children are now grown and attending university, while the rest are still at home with my husband and me, and I cherish every moment with them because time passes by so quickly.

Expert Care, Human Connection

In addition to my BLS, STABLE, NRP, and IBCLC certifications, I hold two Bachelor of Science degrees—one in Exercise Science and another in Nursing—as well as a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), which allows me to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for both mothers and their babies during one of the most important transitions of life.

For over fourteen years, I worked as a registered nurse on the Mother-Baby floor at my local hospital, caring for families in postpartum, the newborn nursery, women’s surgery, and the NICU. During that time, I had the privilege of attending countless births, teaching childbirth education classes, and providing thousands of hours of hands-on lactation support—both in the hospital and in the community. I have walked alongside mothers and babies from their very first days through toddlerhood, helping them navigate feeding challenges, healing, and the early rhythms of life together.

But more than anything, this work has taught me that the postpartum period is tender, transformative, and often far more overwhelming than most families expect. As an FNP-C, I am able to care for the whole mother—not just her feeding journey, but her physical and emotional well-being. I provide evaluation and treatment for mothers experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety, offering both clinical support and a steady, compassionate presence during a time that can feel isolating.

My goal is simple: to meet you where you are, without judgment, and to walk with you as you find your footing. Whether you are navigating breastfeeding challenges, healing after birth, or quietly struggling beneath the surface, you do not have to do this alone. You deserve care that is both deeply knowledgeable and deeply human—and that is what I strive to provide.
