Mother Nurture's Mission

Mother Nurture Lactation Consulting strives to promote optimal infant and maternal health by providing every breastfeeding family with thorough, evidence-based education, as well as warm, nurturing emotional support and practical skills that are essential for successful breastfeeding.

I respect every mother’s unique definition of breastfeeding success and will work towards helping them achieve their personal goals. I founded Mother Nurture to empower women to harness confidence in breastfeeding and thrive in this beautiful stage of motherhood.

Mother Nurture's Values

I am available to assist and empower you in making your breastfeeding, pumping, or alternative feeding experience a positive one. Above and beyond my qualifications, I am a mother. Nothing I have done or will ever do can match the incredible experience of creating and raising my own children.

I breastfed each of my babies for 2-3 1/2 years, overcoming various challenges. Two of my children are now grown and attending university, while the rest are still at home with my husband and me, and I cherish every moment with them because time passes by so quickly.

Supporting You Every Step of the Way

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, as well as a Nursing degree and IBCLC certification. Currently, I am pursuing a Nurse Practitioner’s license while already being certified in BLS, STABLE, and NRP.

For over ten years, I have been working as a registered nurse on the Mother-Baby floor of my local hospital, where I provide care to patients in postpartum, the newborn nursery, women’s surgery, and the NICU. Throughout these years, I have attended many births and taught childbirth education classes to expectant families. I have also provided thousands of hours of lactation-specific care in the hospital setting and as an IBCLC outside of the hospital, assisting babies from a few days old up to age 2+.
